A true brainstorming session, exploring, and bouncing ideas off your colleagues is quite an invigorating experience. And if your team is lucky, you get to create something from scratch that you are passionate about. This is precisely what happened in the evolution of the latest creation of the fifth edition of FSCNow, Farmingdale’s annual magazine.
Members of the Marketing & Communications team created a magazine sharing stories from some of the exceptional students, world-class faculty, and accomplished alums. These stories continue to explore the decade-long transformation of Farmingdale State College and its campus community. FSC, literally known as the "Aggie" School in the past, steadily developed into a future-focused, modernized campus that offers abundant innovative and lucrative degree programs.
While the physical magazine's planning, development, and design were underway, Ru Jurow, the Associate Creative Director, and Nicholas Raia, the Web Application Developer, kept under wraps that they were reengineering a once static website. The new microsite reflects a transformed campus - fresh, inspiring, and cutting-edge.
Just like our campus, the new microsite is dynamic and engaging, relevant, vibrant, accessible, and responsive. It includes exclusive videos, additional photography, extended articles and an interactive timeline for the cover story, “A Campus Transformed.” What’s more, it’s innovative and alluring, everything readers are conditioned to expect when consuming content in this digital era.
Future-focused, more changes are underway for FSC that will dramatically transform the campus over the next five years. Keep your eye on the Marketing & Communications team because they are also clearly looking to the future.
Enjoy the FSCNow microsite! Please share this with your friends, family, and colleagues.
