Farmingdale State College senior Jennifer Bove, a resident of Marine Park, has been named Rambassador of the Year at Farmingdale State College. Bove is president of the Rambassadors, a student leadership group that helps with student recruitment and marketing efforts.
The award recognizes Rambassadors that show exemplary leadership skills, and go above and beyond to help fellow students. The top Rambassador exhibits integrity, collaboration, and intellectual, emotional, and social growth.
"I am very grateful for this award," says Bove. "It has been an honor to work for
the Rambassador program, and represent the Farmingdale students. I have met and worked
with many incredible people, and I will take all that I have learned from them into
my future endeavors. I will miss the Farmingdale community very much."
Bove, who is graduating with a degree in Medical Laboratory Science, has been a Rambassador
all four years she has attended Farmingdale. A two-time Dean's List student with a
GPA always above 3.0, she has been a friendly face at events such as Open House and
Accepted Student Day.
Off campus, Bove has interned at Long Island Jewish Medical Center since 2018. She
wants to be a Medical Laboratory Scientist.
