Massapequa Resident Wins Excellence in Professional Service Award from SUNY

Ms. Lauren Romer began her Farmingdale career in 2013 as assistant registrar. The Selection Committee said of her: "Ms. Romer has an eye for detail, is prompt in meeting deadlines, is creative and professional with all constituents she services, and this makes her an exceptional associate registrar."

The Committee went on to say: "In an office filled with hardworking and dedicated individuals, Lauren's clear-headed organization, coupled with a wonderful sense of humor, prove time and time again to be a true asset to the Office of the Registrar." Outside the office, she has served on the Distance Learning and Commencement committees.

The Chancellor's Award is conferred to acknowledge and provide recognition for consistently superior professional achievement and to encourage the ongoing pursuit of excellence. Through these awards, SUNY publicly proclaims its pride in the accomplishment and personal dedication of its instructional faculty, librarians and professional staff across its campuses.
