Farmingdale State College Ranked #9 among Public Colleges in the North by U.S. News & World Report

The just-released 2018-2019 U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges survey ranks Farmingdale State College as one of the best regional colleges in the north. Among all public colleges in the north region, Farmingdale placed 9th.

In addition, when compared to both public and private colleges in the north, the college placed in the top twenty (#19). Farmingdale – SUNY's largest college of technology – also ranked in Best Colleges for Veterans (#12) and #18 for Best Value.

Farmingdale ranks 8th in the nation among all colleges and universities with an enrollment increase of nearly 48% from 2006–2016, according to a survey by the Chronicle of Higher Education. The College has enrolled more than 10,000 students for the 2018-2019 academic year, giving it the second largest undergraduate population among four-year institutions on Long Island.
