Farmingdale State College is Fifth Safest Campus in Nation

Farmingdale State College was again ranked the fifth safest college in the nation, according to Universityprimetime.com, an online resource for campus life.

Farmingdale State College President W. Hubert Keen offered congratulations to all who contributed to creating a safe and hospitable campus.  He especially cited the University Police and its Chief, Marvin Fischer.  “Thanks to all of you and to the university police officers for working with the campus community to create a strong culture of respect and caring.  Given our Students First initiative, this recognition is most gratifying.”

The only other SUNY campus on the Universityprimetime.com list was FIT (#8) in Manhattan.  Several years ago, the DailyBeast.com ranked the college as #5 in safety.
