Today, March 31, is International Transgender Day of Visibility (TDOV). This day is dedicated to celebrating transgender, non-binary, and gender-expansive people, recognizing their accomplishments, and raising awareness about the significant challenges they face in today's society.
TDOV was founded in 2009 by Rachel Crandall-Crocker, a transgender activist, to highlight the positive aspects of being transgender and to contract the somber tone of Transgender Day of Rememberance Events typically include rallies, educational panels, and community gatherings.
