FSC is dedicated to celebrating and supporting individuals in the LGBTQ+ community, and pays tribute to the momentous observance of National Coming Out Day. In essence, this day is promoted to raise awareness about the importance of coming out, challenge stereotypes and prejudices, and foster acceptance and inclusion.  Furthermore, it is a time of celebration and empowerment for LGBTQ+ individuals and their allies while encouraging people to embrace their true selves and live openly, free from fear and discrimination.

Strengthen solidarity in unity through offering support, attending awareness events, and advocating for LGBTQ+ rights, and above all else encourage and advocate for acceptance and inclusivity.

Founded on October 11, 1988, by Robert Eichberg, a psychologist, and Jean O'Leary, an LGBTQ+ rights activist, National Coming Out Day has become an internationally recognized event aimed at cultivating a culture of belonging.
