This July FSC's Liberty Partnerships Program LPP, hosted an adventurous Scavenger Hunt for their program's students here on Campus. Staff and Faculty members from various programs and departments enthusiastically participated in welcoming and visiting with the students as they hunted for their hidden tokens. "Our Liberty Partnerships Program students and coordinators felt incredibly welcomed. You showed them who we are as a community- positive, encouraging and fun." -- Suzelle Zamor, LPP Director. In the words of Lukas, one of the participating students, "silly and nice."
We all look forward to future collaborations with the Liberty Partnerships Program, a fabulous support service devoted to serving pre-collegiate/dropout prevention services to students in grade 5-12. The Farmingdale State College LPP engages students year-round in a multitude of services which increases their motivation and ability to maintain and transition through high school graduation, prepare for competitive admissions into college and be ready for the rigors of the workforce.
