Suzelle Zamor, Director of the Liberty Partnerships Program and Allison Colombo, Administrative Assistant, have collaborated on another inspirational project inclusive of all LPP students. In recognition and celebration of Black History Month, each student researched an influential figure in representation of Black History Month with attributes and qualities that they identified with, connected with, and found impactful. Essentially, they wrote their chosen person on strips of card stock and attached it to an image named Erika, a " modern and beautiful representation of history with historic names edged in their roots." Enriched with individualistic symbolism, this activity not only embraced the essence of Black History Month, it ushered thought provoking conversation.
Congratulations to all LPP students for working together to design an exquisite masterpiece, uniquely crafted to capture inherent interpretations of Black History Month.
