This year marks Title IX's 50th anniversary, an influential gender equity law passed  on June 23, 1972 which states that "no person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from the participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subject to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance."  Fatoma Rad, MS LIS, MA HEA, Acquisitions Librarian at Farmingdale State College's Greenley Library, has selected various Title IX recommended books available to all members of the Campus Community.  In an unending pursuit of sustaining and establishing a safe and equitable culture, we encourage you to explore the outlined list of literary works below.  We hope you enjoy this month's selection, all feedback is welcome.
