RAM Scholar and CPIS Student Accepted into Funded Summer Research Program

RAM Scholar and CPIS student Sofia Cuenca, a junior at FSC, has been accepted into the University of Florida NSF REU (research experiences for undergraduates) summer 2019 program, in "Intelligent Multimodal Human-Computer Interaction Research." This is Sofia's second REU. In summer 2018 she participated in an NSF REU at Bowie State University, in computer security. a solid foundation in Security Systems, prepared him to obtain the position. He also is grateful for the advice, encouragement, and help from his classmates and great professors at FSC, that also helped guide him in the right direction.
