Long Island Sustainability Series (LIS2) - Plastic Pollution Coastal Clean Up

The Long Island Sustainability Series (LIS2) is an educational series hosted by Farmingdale State College (FSC) in partnership with Suffolk Community College (SCCC). The series is focused on pollution prevention (P2) and how Long Island residents can reduce their environmental impact. It is a mixture of lecture-style presentations by local experts and activity-based events, such as beach clean-ups and DIY green cleaning products.


The eleventh event of the series will focus on Plastic Pollution and will be a coastal clean-up event at Robert Moses State Park in recognition of International Coastal Clean-Up Day.
