The ease and speed with which new journals appear (and disappear) can overwhelm both new and seasoned scholars alike. Fortunately, there are tools -- like Cabell's Scholarly Analytics -- to help scholars identify and thoroughly vet potential publication venues. Join us for a one-hour webinar to learn how Cabell's can help you in your publication journey. By the end of this session, attendees will be able to access Greenley Library's subscription to Cabell's Scholarly Analytics, utilize basic and advanced search features to locate legitimate publication venues, and interpret Cabell's proprietary metrics (CCI, Altmetrics, Scite) in determining the influence and prestige of journals. We will also discuss how to use Cabell's to identify the attributes of trusted journals in order to find similar publications.
