Join us in celebrating the work of our Visual Communications, Graphic Design and Interaction Design seniors.
The Senior Project Design Exhibit 2024 will include an expo style presentation within the Memorial Gallery! The exhibition will feature a series of installations representing each graduating designer's capstone project concept. This exhibition will be on view in the Memorial Gallery located in Hale Hall at Farmingdale State College, 2350 Broadhollow Road, Farmingdale, NY 11735.
This exhibition will be open to the public M - F from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM from May 6 - June 14, 2024. Two receptions for students, faculty, staff, and the public will be hosted on Tuesday, May 7 from 5:00 - 6:30 PM ( Prof. Kim Wild's class) and Thursday, May 9 from 5:00 - 6:30 PM ( Prof. Micheal Mastermaker's class)
The exhibition & expo is planned in coordination with the release of the Senior Project website which is dedicated to the virtual presentation of portfolios and projects developed by graduating students from the Visual Communications, Graphic Design and Interaction Design at Farmingdale State College. ABOUT THE MEMORIAL GALLERY
The Memorial Gallery's mission is to serve as a vital teaching instrument and visual resource that enriches campus cultural life as well as that of the surrounding community. This is to be accomplished through the exhibition of imagery related to the communication arts, which represent a wide range of media, cultures, and time periods.
The Memorial Gallery is located in Hale Hall on the campus of Farmingdale State College – State University of New York – 2350 Broadhollow Road (Route. 110).
Gallery hours: Monday through Friday from 9:00AM–4:00PM. Admission is free and the gallery is accessible to persons with mobility impairments. Please call-in advance of your trip.
