OCCE will hold a virtual webinar with Erica Sayers, who will talk about her leadership journey in social advocacy and provide leadership training for students who are interested in getting more involved in social advocacy and learning how to utilize their platforms for social good.

Erica Sayers, advises private, public, government and multilateral organizations on the most effective collaboration and communication models that benefits target audiences and advances social good.

Throughout her career, she always worked with emerging technologies and technology platforms building intelligent experiences for the benefit of the user based on real data. Previously, Erica held director roles at digital creative agencies including Code and Theory and Huge, where she led multi-disciplinary teams and multi-million dollar portfolios focused on brand strategy, digital transformation and customer experience. Her expertise spans campaign development, cultural fluency programs, strategic partnerships and applying innovative technologies to drive engagement for clients such as the U.S. Department of State, Capital One, State Farm, or the United Nations. Most recently, she led communications efforts for the private sector partnerships team at UN Women, including launching global and regional advocacy campaigns focused on mobilizing men and boys in the achievement of gender equality via the HeForShe movement and the HeForShe Alliance.

Erica holds an M.A. in International Business and Policy from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service and McDonough School of Business and a B.A. in International Economic Development from The Ohio State University.
