Take an Art Break: Spring 2024
Take an Art Break is a workshop series at the Writing Center. Featuring different mediums of art, all students, faculty, and staff may use the Writing Center space at designated times to create and take home a custom art piece. No previous art experience necessary, and all materials are provided.
Pre-registration is not necessary, but seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Event Description
Take an Art Break includes a brief tutorial on the different mediums and strategies followed by open studio time. A new project is featured for every month.
Participants may attend at any point between 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
We also encourage you to attend and create your own project, and you may use any of the in-house art materials such as canvases, paints, colored pencils, and more. For the full list, see our flyer below.
All skill levels are welcome. Available while supplies last.
