Portfoliofest 2023

Do you have students who are working on portfolios for college applications?

The Visual Communications Department at Farmingdale State College can help your students get a head start with this process at our annual PortfolioFest.

PortfolioFest, a free evening event for students, is the perfect opportunity to have portfolios evaluated by art & design professionals, regardless of where they will be attending college.

PortfolioFest will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 from 6pm–8pm in Hale Hall Room 231.

Students will be able to speak with art professors, tour our state-of-the-art facilities, and view portfolio samples from students in our programs. They can also visit a special exhibit in our Memorial Gallery, and meet with a Financial Aid advisor and an Admissions advisor to gain some insight into comparable baccalaureate-level programs in the metropolitan area. Light refreshments will be available.

To register for PortfolioFest 2023, students can send an email to this link with their name, address, current school name and grade.
