Join your fellow students, faculty, and staff as we host a week-long celebration in honor of all FSC First - Generation college students!

We Got Your Back!

• 1:30pm - 3:30pm, Campus Center Ballroom

Reimagine what is possible as a First Gen and 1st student at FSC. You are invited to join the First Gen Ambassadors at this interactive event that highlights that possibilities are limitless as long as you have the passion, the drive, the focus, and the support. You will be welcomed by peers and campus resource representatives, and of course, served lunch. This is an engagement you do not and should not miss. Come with expectations and leave knowing that success is in your grasp.

Calling all “First-Geners!” Join us for an interactive, lively celebration with food, music, and activities as we cheer on our First-Generation students!  Students, faculty, or staff, if you are first- generation come be proud, and show your pride!

A Call to First-Generation High Schoolers: Your Future Begins NOW!

• 9:30am - 1pm, Campus Center Ballroom

Education is a powerful weapon; it changes YOU and prepares you to impact the world! FSC will host over 150 students from our partner high schools for educational opportunities. This highly engaging event will feature, a campus tour, an informational presentation that highlights greater opportunities and fewer obstacles, activities to give you a “taste” of the college experience, networking with our First-Generation Ambassador, and of course, lunch!

First-Generation Chat and Chew: My First-Gen Story

• Thursday, November 9th
• 6pm - 8pm, Campus Center Ballroom

First-gen students are courageous, adventuresome, and pacesetters!  This interactive event is seeking “first-geners” to share their stories over fun, food, and pride! As a first-gen student, your story will live in you forever. Come, share; let others see fragments of themselves in it.
