Neurodiversity: Difference Is Not A Deficit!
Neurodiversity describes the idea that people experience and interact with the world around them in many different ways. There is no one "right" way of thinking, learning, and behaving. It recognizes the range of differences in brain function as a part of the normal variation in the human population.
It can sometimes be a challenge to work alongside people who think, communicate or behave in ways we’re not used to. Increasing our empathy and understanding surrounding neurodiversity will strengthen our FSC community.
You are invited to be an active participant in this interactive discussion, as we widen our intersectionality lens to capture the meaning and importance of neurodiversity and disability justice. Together, we can reimagine what is possible in strengthening and highlighting our inclusive culture.
