DIALOGUE: Art Educators of New York - Closing Reception

Memorial Gallery at Farmingdale State College is thrilled to announce the highly anticipated return of one of our most beloved community outreach exhibitions, DIALOGUE: Art Educators of New York. Curated by renowned art curator Beth Giacummo, this annual summer exhibition showcases the exceptional artistic talents of art educators residing and working in New York.

The Farmingdale State College students, faculty, staff, art enthusiasts, and the local community are cordially invited to join us for the closing reception on August 14, 2023, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. This event offers a unique opportunity to engage with the artists, appreciate their work firsthand, and celebrate the culmination of this exciting exhibition.

About the Memorial Gallery             

The Memorial Gallery's mission is to serve as a vital teaching instrument and visual resource that enriches campus cultural life as well as that of the surrounding community. This is to be accomplished through the exhibition of imagery related to the communication arts, which represent a wide range of media, cultures, and time periods.  

  

The Memorial Gallery is located in Hale Hall on the campus of Farmingdale State College – State University of New York – 2350 Broadhollow Road (Route. 110).  

 

Gallery hours: Monday through Friday from 9:00AM–4:00PM. 

Admission is free and the gallery is accessible to persons with mobility impairments.
