Farmingdale State College welcomes all members of the campus community to attend.  

 

Katarzyna Mańkowska is a Polish researcher, cognitive scientist, and a Ph.D.
candidate in the field of gender and sexuality. Her main scientific interest touches on
developing gender identity and its relation to psychosexual identity. Her research is 
based on the experiences of non-binary people who started transitioning while in a 
relationship and their cisgender partners. Privately she is engaged in local LGBTQ+ 
activism in cooperation with Polish NGOs as well as European ones, such as 
IGLYO.
