Implicit Bias Workshop: Implications For Higher Education

Kenya Beard HeadshotWe’re all biased. Our experiences frame who we are, and our race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, relationships, and other factors impact the lens with which we view the world. Join Dr. Kenya Beard EdD, Associate Provost at Chamberlain University and Chairperson of the New York State Board of Nursing in an engaged workshop on implicit bias and its effect on creating and sustaining an inclusive higher education community.

Please join the Office of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusive Excellence and the Nursing Department for an interactive workshop and light refreshments.  This event is open to all members of the Farmingdale State College Campus Community.
