Nexus SSI Applied Learning Opportunity: All In To Vote Information Session!

Students who successfully participate in this voting pledge campaign will obtain 5 credit hours towards the Applied Learning Graduation Requirement. Not only will you gain half of the hours needed to satisfy the Applied Learning Graduation Requirement, but this is an excellent resume addition demonstrating that you are taking an active role in engaging fellow students in democratic participation.

 

We are seeking students to help lead a voter education and registration campaign across FSC’s campus, including using your unique social media and other marketing strategies, to spread awareness to your peers about voting and specifically, the All In To Vote Challenge! By coordinating with the Nexus Center’s Social Science Institute (SSI), you will create a plan to encourage students to participate in the national college voting challenge, “All In To Vote.” You will help with voter education by helping spread awareness that students can register to vote online on the All In website, as well as other important dates, such as the October 9th deadline to register to vote for this election season.
