Rambo's Rundown

A Message from Dr. Ron Jackson

Fall is in the air, and so is another edition of Ram-Bo’s Rundown!

Welcome to the October edition of our monthly Student Affairs newsletter and our second issue of the new academic year! As the leaves begin to change, the days get a little shorter, and the weather reminds us to grab a jacket before heading out, campus life is in full swing. October is a great time to embrace the season, enjoy the energy of the semester, and make the most of your Farmingdale experience.

By now, many of you are settling into your routines, reconnecting with friends, and finding your rhythm in the classroom. But don’t let your semester become all work and no play! Take a break, attend a campus event, join a club, cheer on your fellow Rams at an athletic event, or strike up a conversation with someone new. Some of the best college memories happen when you step outside your usual routine.

As the weather changes, remember that Student Affairs is here to help you navigate the changes and challenges of college life, too. Whether you need support with basic needs, want to prioritize your well-being, are looking for ways to get involved, or simply have a question, our team is ready to connect you with the resources and people who can help.

So, grab your favorite fall beverage, find a cozy spot, and take a few minutes to explore this month’s Ram-Bo’s Rundown. There’s plenty happening across campus, and we don’t want you to miss out!

Wishing you a fun, productive, and memorable October. Enjoy the season, stay connected, and keep making your mark on our RAMily!

Reach. Achieve. Matter.
