Toiletry Drive Competition
Sent on behalf of the Office of Community & Civic Engagement
To the Campus Community:
Prepare to make a difference with the Nexus Center Office of Community and Civic Engagement!
Beginning Monday, April 3, we're launching an exciting Day of Service Toiletry Drive to help those in need and spark some friendly competition between six different campus
groups. The toiletry drive will end on April 20.
We're inviting the four schools, functional areas, and alumni to compete to see who
can collect the most items. The winning group will be announced during the highly
anticipated FSC Inaugural Day of Service lecture and Q&A with the legendary George Takei.
Collection bins will be available from April 3 - 19. Each location is for a specific
group, as noted below:
- The School of Engineering Technology - Lupton Lobby
- The School of Business - School of Business Lobby
- The School of Health Sciences - Gleeson Lobby
- The School of Arts & Sciences - Hale Lobby
- Alumni - Alumni Office
- Staff in the functional areas (non-academic departments) - Greenley Lobby and Horton
Lobby
You may also bring your items on April 20 directly to the Campus Center lobby before
the Day of Service event. The first 200 guests who bring a toiletry item to the Day of Service lecture will
receive a complimentary George Takei book!
Your generous donations will benefit our FSC Food Pantry, as well as these community partners:
