Presidential Search

Farmingdale State College (FSC) announces its national search for the College’s 10th president. The Presidential Search Committee has been appointed, and the search firm RPA Inc. has been retained to recruit the institution’s next leader.

Founded in 1912, Farmingdale State College delivers exceptional academic and applied learning outcomes through scholarship, research, and student engagement for Long Island and beyond. As SUNY’s largest college of applied science and technology, FSC offers 45 degree programs focused on emerging, high-demand and relevant careers. More than half of our students graduate debt free, and 94% are employed six months after graduation or enrolled in graduate school. Dr. Patricia Hill Williams, Chair of the Farmingdale State College Council, will chair the Presidential Search Committee. Adhering to SUNY Presidential Search Guidelines, the search will use a representational model, to protect the professionals who will be engaged, and maintain a strong, robust, and diverse applicant pool.
