Mission & Goals
The Center for Teaching, Learning and Technology (CTLT) is the umbrella organization that publicizes, coordinates, and supports faculty development activities at Farmingdale State College. The CTLT advances the College's Mission and its commitment to excellence in teaching and learning by providing interactive faculty development opportunities; supporting technologies that enhance the teaching and learning process; encouraging innovation in pedagogy; and promoting programs and services that assist with course development, instructional delivery, assessment, and scholarship.

CTLT Annual Conference 2017
Excellence through Inclusion: Teaching Diverse Learners.
Friday, May 5th, 9AM-2PM, Campus Center Ballroom
This year's conference will feature two consecutive sessions followed by lunch and the awarding of the CTLT Annual Awards for:
- Outstanding Scholarly Publication,
- Innovate Pedagogy, and
- Outstanding Faculty Mentorship.
Keynote Speaker: Dr. Frank Tuitt
Session Speakers include Dr. Chayla Haynes Davison & Dr. Saran Stewart.
This year's Keynote speaker will by Dr. Frank Tuitt, the Senior Advisor to the Chancellor and Provost on Diversity and Inclusion at the University of Denver. Dr. Tuitt is also an Associate Professor of Higher Education at the University's Mogridge College of Education. He is a scholar devoted to the examination and exploration of topics related to access and equity in higher education; teaching and learning in racially diverse college classrooms; and diversity and organizational transformation. His research critically examines issues of race, Inclusive Excellence and diversity in and outside the classroom.
Refreshments include a light breakfast and a full lunch and dessert.
A raffle will be held after lunch.
