Dates and Deadlines

Priority Deadlines for Freshmen

Applications will be accepted after these priority deadlines on a space-available basis.  Please note that certain programs will hold their own specific deadlines.

Specific Program Requirements and Deadlines:

Aeronautical Science-Professional Pilot

  • Additional flight fees of approximately $9000/semester
  • First Class Medical highly recommended

Applied Mathematics

  • Three years of math (including Pre-calculus) with grades of C+ or better.

Applied Psychology

  • Application deadlines of March 1st for Fall semester and October 1st for Spring semester.
  • High school applicants are required to have a minimum of a B+ average with B or better in biology and math courses.
  • Transfer students must have a minimum of a 2.75 GPA and B or better in statistics, psychology, and biology courses.

Architectural Engineering Technology

  • Program is only available in the Fall semester.

Bioscience

  • Students from high school must have a minimum of a B or better in Biology and Chemistry
  • Transfer students must have a minimum GPA of 2.75 and a minimum of a C+ or better in all sciences courses.

Business Management

  • Minimum of B average from high school and recommended GPA of 2.75 for transfer students.

Criminal Justice

  • Minimum of B average from high school and 2.75 for transfers.

Dental Hygiene-AS

  • Applicants from high school must have completed biology, chemistry and two math courses with minimum grades of a B+.
  • Transfer students must have (in addition to the high school requirements) EGL 101, BIO 166 (Anatomy and Physiology), and CHM 140 (Introduction to General, Organic and Biochemistry). Please check with the Admissions Office for course equivalents at other colleges.
  • Fall semester start only.

Dental Hygiene- BS

  • Applicants must have a dental hygiene license for consideration.

Medical Technology

  • Applicants must have a B or better in high school biology and chemistry
  • Transfer students must have a C+ or better in college level biology and chemistry courses.

Nursing-BS

  • Minimum of B or better in high school biology, chemistry, and two math courses.
  • NLN PAX-RN- applicants must be placed on the waitlist prior to taking this exam.
  • Four year program for all applicants who are accepted without an RN license.
  • Application Deadline- January 15th. 
  • Program is only available in the Fall semester.

Nursing-Advanced Standing Track

  • Minimum of B or better in high school biology, chemistry, and two math courses.
  • College Anatomy and Physiology 1 & 2 (minimum of a B or better), English Composition, Introduction to Psychology and four additional Liberal Arts and Science curriculum requirements.
  • NLN PAX-RN- applicants must be placed on the waitlist prior to taking this exam. 
  • Application Deadline- October 1st.
  • Program is only available in the Spring semester.

Nursing- RN-BSN

  • Application Deadline- January 15th
  • RN License
  • Letter from Employer showing one year work experience in related field

Visual Communications

  • Art Test and Portfolio required
