To FSC Students:
With the upcoming Presidential election, along with state and local races, it’s important
to exercise your right to vote. Even if you are not yet eligible to vote, being informed
about voting rights helps you stay civically engaged.
FSC is currently ranked #1 among all SUNY campuses and #18 among schools nationwide
in the "All In To Vote" college challenge. According to the campaign: "Studies show
that you’re more likely to complete an action if you’ve already made a public commitment
to it."
Want to help keep FSC on top? Then take the pledge now.
Complete the short form, which includes your name and email address. Then select FSC
as your college. Once you submit the form, a confirmation email will be sent to your
FSC email address.
Every FSC student who takes the pledge to vote/spread voter awareness will be counted
in the national college competition. Tell your friends to submit their pledge online
too, and help keep FSC as the top SUNY school.
Of course, don’t forget to actually vote. You don't have to wait until Election Day November
3; the early voting period in NY is from October 24 to November 1. Register to vote by October 9.
