Religious and Other Holidays
To FSC Faculty:
During the semester, there are dates when faculty, staff, and students may be absent
for religious observances or other holidays. The Religious and Other Holidays for Faculty and Students webpage has been updated to identify dates for the current semester.
Please be reminded that, as stated in the College Catalog, under the State Education
Law it is the responsibility of the faculty to make available an equal opportunity
to make up any examination, study or work requirements which students may have missed
due to absence from school because of their religious beliefs. All student absences,
in order to practice their faith, will be viewed as an “excused absence," with no
negative consequence.
