MSCHE Accreditation Self-Study Working Groups Forming—Volunteer Request
Dear Faculty and Staff:
FSC is now forming the Self-Study Steering Committee Working Groups that will guide
us through the next Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) reaccreditation
process. Work performed in support of the College’s reaccreditation process is among
the most critical forms of College-level service that any of us can perform. Working
Groups need to be a mix of seasoned and new members of the Farmingdale campus community,
so all are welcome to volunteer.
Please indicate your interest in serving on a working group by submitting this form by Friday May 1, 2026.
The Self-Study will be co-chaired by Dr. Susan Conforti, and Dr. Ronald Jackson. The
accreditation liaison officer is Karen Gelles.
Volunteers are needed for working groups that may include:
- Mission and Goals
- Ethics and Integrity
- Design and Delivery of the Student Learning Experience
- Support of the Student Learning Experience
- Educational Effectiveness Assessment
- Planning, Resources, and Institutional Improvement
- Governance, Leadership, and Administration
- Evidence, Requirements of Affiliation, Verification of Compliance
There is no need to volunteer for a specific working group, although it is fine to
indicate a preference.
