Christopher Browne, PhD
To Faculty and Staff:
It is with great sadness that I write to inform you of the death of one of our colleagues,
Christopher Browne, PhD.
Dr. Browne worked at Farmingdale since 2006, most recently as a senior staff psychologist
in Campus Mental Health Services, and was well-regarded by all who knew him. The students
with whom he interacted felt heard and respected, and he had a meaningful impact on
their lives.
Having previously chaired the Students of Concern Committee, Dr. Browne was instrumental
in designing how we assist students of concern.
Our thoughts are with Christopher's family and friends at this difficult time.
