Welcome to Fall 2025 at FSC
Dear Students:
Welcome to the start of the Fall 2025 semester! I hope you had a great summer and
are feeling refreshed and ready for an exciting year.
To all our new students – welcome to the RAMily! We’re excited to have you join our
vibrant, supportive community. To our returning students – welcome back! A special
shoutout to our seniors – congratulations on reaching your final year. You’ve worked
hard to get here, and we’re proud of all you’ve accomplished. As you prepare to cross
the finish line, know that we’re cheering all of you on every step of the way.
At FSC, we pride ourselves on being a community grounded in respect, kindness, and
inclusion as iterated in our Freedom of Expression statement. As we begin this new academic year, let’s commit to practicing civility—in
our classrooms, residence halls, campus spaces, and in the way we interact with one
another. For some students, we understand this may be a time filled with uncertainty.
Please know, you are welcome here, and you belong. Let’s continue building a culture where every student feels welcomed, supported, heard,
and part of our community. Remember—you’re not alone.
College can be exciting, challenging, and sometimes overwhelming. Our faculty, staff,
and student support services are here to assist you on your college journey. If there
are personal or academic barriers preventing you from achieving your goals, don’t
hesitate to reach out for assistance to the Office of the Dean of Students at dean.students@farmingdale.edu.
I encourage you to take advantage of two optional trainings this fall: Title VI (available on Brightspace) and Hazing 101 (available on the College’s webpage). Both require logging in with your myFSC single sign-on credentials. These brief
programs will both enrich your own experience and help strengthen our community as
a whole.
Finally, make the most of your time here—get involved, connect with others, and embrace
all that Farmingdale has to offer.
Wishing you a successful, enriching, and enjoyable semester.
Go Rams!
