Call for Nominations—Chancellor's Awards and Distinguished Faculty Ranks
Dear Colleagues:
SUNY and Farmingdale State College are deeply committed to recognizing the excellence
that is so widely found among members of our faculty and professional staff. With
that, I am pleased to open nominations for the various Chancellor’s Awards for Faculty
and Professional Staff Excellence and the Distinguished Faculty Ranks program for
the 2026-2027 year. Please consider nominating a deserving colleague. This is a great
opportunity to better ensure our colleagues receive the recognition they deserve.
Nominations will be accepted now through June 1, 2026.

Please visit the FSC Awards page for a list of previous recipients.
Eligible nominees will be notified over the summer by the Provost’s Office, and the
local selection committees will meet to review dossiers during the fall semester.
