CARES Award Call for Nominations
To the Campus Community:
In my frequent travels I often boast about our College as a kind and giving community.
To celebrate these essential qualities, I encourage you to help me recognize individuals
who best represent these important traits by nominating them for the annual Commendation
and Recognition for Excellence in Service (CARES) award.
Think about the many folks around you—faculty and staff—individuals you regularly
interact with and take a moment to spotlight those who exhibit exceptional thoughtfulness
and consideration during the course of their workday by nominating them for this recognition.
I am confident that you know many individuals who exemplify the qualities that brighten
our day. All members of our campus community can submit a nomination, keeping in mind that some of our most worthy nominations have come from students.
The criteria for the CARES award, FAQs, and Honor Roll of past recipients, can be
found on the Presidential Awards webpage. Please submit your CARES award nominations by noon on Tuesday, May 12, 2025.
