2026 Internal Control Policy Statement
To Faculty and Staff:
At Farmingdale State College, integrity, accountability, and transparency are the
foundation of everything we do. These principles are essential to earning and maintaining
the trust of our students, faculty, staff, and stakeholders. Together, we share the
responsibility of upholding the highest standards of ethical conduct and strong internal
controls.
Our Internal Control Program is central to this commitment. It provides the structure
that ensures operational efficiency, accurate reporting, and compliance with all applicable
laws and regulations. Internal controls are not just policies; they are practices
that require active engagement from every member of our campus community.
I would like to thank all who participated in the risk assessment process this year.
Your contributions are invaluable in helping us identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks
that could impact the College’s ability to achieve its mission. These assessments
strengthen our resilience and inform strategic decision making across the institution.
If you have questions or need guidance regarding the Internal Control Program or Enterprise Risk Management Program, please reach out to the Risk and Compliance Office. Your commitment and cooperation
to Internal Controls are essential to sustaining the integrity and success of Farmingdale
State College. Thank you for your dedication.
