FSC Priorities Workshop for Faculty
Dear Faculty:
Our "Eight for 28" continues to move apace as our major planning map, offering a broad
look at many parts of our College over time. In efforts to more deeply call out a
narrow set of priorities, I plan to hold a series of open campus discussions for interested
faculty, administrators, and staff on FSC priorities, short- and long-term, outside
of or embedded broadly within our Strategic Plan. These workshops will be grouped
so that the conversations can best focus on what is most important to our broad divisions
of faculty, administrators, and staff. The faculty workshop will be held in Campus Center Ballroom A on Wednesday, December
10 at 9:00 a.m.
For each session, every table will use a flipchart to highlight their ideas. Groups
will identify a discussion leader to keep the conversation flowing and focused, as
well as a note-taker at the flipchart to keep track of highlights and report out.
At the start of the 100-minute session, I will ask three questions designed to focus
the discussions on narrow but essential goals. We'll allow 45 minutes or so for table
discussions and use the remaining time to share results. Members of the Cabinet may
be in the room to answer questions as needed, but otherwise will not participate in
the table discussions.
Light refreshments will be served. If you're interested in participating, and I hope
you ALL are, kindly rsvp here.
Thank you.
