To the Campus Community:
I’m so pleased to announce a scholarship opportunity with our valued partners at H2M
architects and engineers, a professional consulting and design firm based here in
Melville. H2M has a long history of supporting FSC, by serving as industry advisors
to faculty, mentors to students, accepting FSC students to their competitive internship
program, and hiring more 70 alumni of the College.
In this new partnership, H2M has committed a total of $50,000 to provide two junior
or senior students with a $5,000 annual scholarship. It is part of a five-year gift
agreement to support students majoring in architecture & construction management and
civil engineering technology.
Students who meet the following criteria are encouraged to contact their department
chairs for consideration:
- Full-time, undergraduate student majoring in architecture & construction management
or civil engineering technology
- Junior or senior status in the same academic year that scholarship is awarded
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
Please note: This is a one-time award. Two students will be selected every year, for the next
five years.
Students who meet the eligibility requirements are encouraged to contact their department
chairs for more information and how to seek a nomination.
