budget email to academic affairs
Good afternoon,
In order to create a ground-up OTPS budget for the 2023-2024 academic year, please
see below for detailed instructions for the new Budget Process through SharePoint
and the attached document for additional Guidance.
As in the past, you will work with your Dean and/or supervisor to create an OTPS budget
to reflect your standard operating expenses and any additional funding support needed
for 2023-24. In addition, you will need to submit your 2023-2024 Strategic Initiatives
and Technology Fee requests which are identified by separate tabs within the Budget
Planning Worksheet on SharePoint. Your strategic initiatives should be listed in priority
order with linkages to assessment findings and/or the College’s Strategic Plan, where
possible. Your hiring plan requests will also be captured during this planning process
on the hiring template found on your SharePoint drive.
To reiterate, all files with worksheets will be found on the Microsoft Office SharePoint
site. You should already have received emails granting you access to your department’s
corresponding folder(s), where you can work on your budget directly through the links
provided or download the budget documents. The attached Guidance contains instructions
regarding the Budget Process and Sharepoint.
