Call for Proposals for 2025 International Mother Language Day
To the Campus Community:
Languages are a cultural expression of a community and can transcend the spoken word.
People share and exchange their language through many forms, including music, painting,
photography, poetry, and technology. Beyond Words—Languages and Resilience is an upcoming event to celebrate International Mother Language Day.
If you are a dancer, musician, singer, painter, photographer, videographer, podcaster, hacker,
programmer, writer, or performer, please consider submitting a proposal to share what
makes your community unique and how you make your voice heard. We invite students, faculty, and staff to share with the FSC community a short talk,
artwork, or performance representing musical, pictorial, bodily, material, or digital
expressions of communicative resilience.
Please submit your proposal by 11/10/2024. For more information, visit our event page.
