Campus Safety Update: Roads and Walkways
To the Campus Community:
As you return to campus this week please use all appropriate caution given ongoing
winter conditions.
Our facilities crews have been working around the clock since Saturday, preparing
for and responding to the recent snowstorm. As a result, you will find that the majority
of our campus roads and paths are clear for traffic.
However, we ask that you remain cautious as you make your way to and around campus.
Persistent freezing temperatures mean there may be patches of ice in places, some
of which may be difficult to see. Please drive and walk with care, both on and off
campus.
Snow removal will continue throughout the week as we work to clear the large piles
in primary parking lots. Please be patient and follow all instructions from University
Police as you arrive and depart from campus.
My sincere thanks to Mark Orlich and our Facilities Operations team who restored our
campus to working order with impressive speed and professionalism.
