Annual Statement: FSC Child Protection Program
To Faculty and Staff:
Farmingdale State College is committed to protecting the safety and well-being of
children participating in College-related programs, events, and activities.
Departments must adhere to SUNY and campus policies when developing and implementing
programs and/or activities involving children (defined by SUNY Policy 6505 as individuals under the age of 17 who are not matriculated students).
Faculty and staff interested in implementing a program, event, or activity with a
child or children, including research, must review The Child Protection Policy and complete a Request to Conduct Programs or Activities Involving Children Form at least 30 days prior to the activity being held.
