Celebration of Scholarship Conference 2026

Sent on behalf of the Celebration of Scholarship Committee

To Faculty and Staff:

Hosted by the Office of the Provost, the 11th Annual Celebration of Scholarship will bring our campus members together to honor the scholarly achievements of our faculty. This annual tradition highlights research, creative works, innovative programs, and fosters interdisciplinary collaboration. The conference also exposes students looking to get involved in research to the work happening across campus.

This year, we are pleased to welcome Lav Varshney, PhD, Della Pietra Infinity Professor and Director of the AI Innovation Institute at Stony Brook University, who will serve as the Keynote Speaker and deliver engaging remarks about artificial intelligence.

Please join us for the Celebration of Scholarship event:

Friday, December 4, 2026
9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Campus Center Ballroom

Kindly RSVP by the end of day Monday, November 16, 2026
Lunch and refreshments will be available for pre-registered guests. We ask that presenters also RSVP.

We look forward to seeing you at this year’s event!
