of several upcoming opportunities to strengthen your civic leadership skills, participate

Building Bridges Student Grant Competition | Up to $5,000
Have an idea that could strengthen our campus community? SUNY's Building Bridges Student
Grant Competition is offering grants of up to $5,000 to selected student organizations
for student-led projects that promote civic engagement, community connections, constructive
dialogue, and collaboration across lines of difference. SUNY expects to make 25 awards
this year. Applications must be submitted by a current degree-seeking student representing
a student organization, and proposed projects require sponsorship from an FSC faculty
member or administrator. The application deadline is November 6, 2026, with funded
projects taking place during the Spring 2027 semester.
Whether you are preparing to vote, developing your leadership skills, creating something
new, or building connections across our campus, there are many ways to get involved
and make your voice count.
Be informed. Be engaged. Make an impact.
