Deadline Extended: Apply for the NY Business Plan Competition – Long Island Regional

To the Campus Community:
As a reminder, applications are now open for the NY Business Plan Competition – Long
Island Regional, a chance for students to pitch their business ideas, gain real-world
experience, and potentially advance to the state-level competition. Students will
compete against their peers from Farmingdale State College, Stony Brook University,
SUNY Old Westbury, Hofstra University, NYIT, Molloy University, and Adelphi University.
Selected teams will present their ideas live at the Long Island Regional on April
1, 2026, hosted at Farmingdale State College. Participants gain valuable exposure,
feedback from professionals, and hands-on experience presenting a business concept
in a competitive setting.
The application deadline has been extended to Sunday, March 15, 11:59 p.m.
Students from all majors are encouraged to apply. Faculty and staff are asked to share this information with students. Whether refining an existing idea or just getting started, this is a great opportunity
for students to take a business concept to the next level, while making valuable connections
with professionals and peers.
