SGA Scholarship Opportunity

To FSC Students:
The SGA, in partnership with the Farmingdale College Foundation, is pleased to announce
that applications for the SGA Scholarships are now open. These scholarships are intended
to recognize and support students who have demonstrated academic achievement, involvement,
and leadership, and awards will be applied to the recipient’s 2026–2027 student account
balance.
The application deadline is Monday, March 2, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. Late submissions will not be considered.
Eligible applicants must be sophomores, juniors, or seniors during the 2026-2027 academic
year, including international students, and must be enrolled full time with a minimum
of 12 credits per semester.
Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.2, be in good standing with the
College in accordance with the Student Code of Conduct, and have applied for all eligible
forms of financial aid, including FAFSA, TAP, the Dream Act, and Excelsior. Students
who are already receiving full scholarship or grant funding covering tuition, room,
and board are not eligible.
Scholarship awards range from approximately $750 to $1,500. Applicants are required
to submit written responses to the application prompts; video submissions may also
be accepted. Available scholarship categories include the SGA Emblem Diversity Scholarship,
SGA Prevail Adversity Scholarship, SGA Empower LGBTQ+ and Allies Scholarship, SGA
Camaraderie Greek Life Champion Scholarship, and the SGA Prestige Organizational/Club
Scholarship.
Students are encouraged to review the full eligibility requirements and application
instructions on the SGA webpage, and to submit their materials prior to the deadline. Links to the applications can
