To FSC Faculty:
The SUNY Academic Affairs Fellows Programs will offer webinars through the spring 2026 semester to support campuses, as well
as faculty, staff and administrators, on a wide range of topics related to AI literacy,
civic discourse, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Social Justice (DEISJ), and sustainability.
The AI for the Public Good Fellows will offer three webinars:
- February 23, 1 p.m.: “Back to Fundamentals: Using, Creating, and Sharing Information
Ethically in the Age of AI”
- March 23, noon: “AI Across the Sciences: Connecting Teaching, Learning, and Research”
- March 30, 2 p.m.: “AI and the Evolving Research Lifecycle: Multidisciplinary Perspectives”

The Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Social Justice Fellows will offer two webinars:
- February 2, noon: “Building LGBTQ+ Inclusive Classrooms”
- February 23, noon: “At the Intersection of DEISJ and Sustainability” (in collaboration
with the Sustainability Faculty Fellows)

The Sustainability Faculty Fellows are offering a webinar series titled “SUNY Sustainability Faculty Series: From Foundation
to Practice.” This four-part professional development series supports SUNY faculty
in integrating sustainability across General Education. Each session features interactive
activities, disciplinary applications from across General Education, and practical
implementation tools. Whether you're new to sustainability education or looking to
deepen your practice, leave with ready-to-use resources, a growing community of practice,
and confidence to make sustainability relevant in your courses.
- February 6, 11 a.m.: “Sustainability Across Disciplines: Introduction to General Education
Integration”
- March 6, 11 a.m.: “Sustainability in the Arts, Humanities, History, and DEISJ”
- April 2, 11 a.m.: “Sustainability in the Natural Sciences and Mathematics”
- April 24, 11 a.m.: “Sustainability in Action: Approaches to Applied Learning”

The Civil Discourse and Civic Education and Engagement Fellows will offer one webinar:
- February 19, noon: “Strategies to Address Psychological Barriers to Civic Discourse”
