Sent on behalf of the Faculty Center
Faculty and staff are invited to attend the 15th Annual Faculty Center Conference on Friday, February 27, 2026 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Campus Center Ballroom. This year's conference focuses on AI in Higher Education, showcasing the pedagogical
strategies for AI tools and how you integrate them into your teaching.
We have invited Dr. Lance Eaton, Senior Associate Director of AI in Teaching and Learning at Northeastern University, for his keynote: All of This Has Happened Before: Leveraging Our Learning & Pedagogy to Navigate AI
in This Moment. Dr. Eaton will discuss the disruption and challenges of AI in Higher Education, showing
practices to use AI in ways that can lead to more authentic learning experiences for
students.
The annual conference will include the keynote address, as well as an interactive
workshop to help you develop your ideas into actionable goals to improve your students'
learning. The day will conclude with our Faculty Center Awards and short lightning
talk sessions from Farmingdale faculty and staff. Both faculty and staff are welcome
to attend.
