Call for Applications: Individual Development Award Program

To Faculty and Staff:
The application period for the Joint UUP/New York State Individual Development Award Program (IDAP) is now open. Applications will be accepted through May 15, 2026, for activities taking place between July 2, 2025 and July 1, 2026.
The IDAP assists eligible employees in developing their professional potential and
preparing for advancement. Funding may be provided to enhance teaching, research,
professional knowledge, and skills. Please review the Program Guidelines and Application Instructions to ensure your application meets all requirements.
- A completed application form, including a budget summary (refer to the college travel webpage for per diem and mileage rates).
- A description of the proposed project or activity, including:

Type of event, location, and sponsor.

Presentation details, if applicable (title and nature of participation).

A letter of acceptance or proposal. If pending, notify the committee when received.

How the activity supports your professional growth or advancement.
- A brief, updated curriculum vitae.
- Relevant documentation on projected costs, or receipts for completed activities.
Applications missing required documentation will not be considered.
