Construction & Maintenance Notification for December 22 & 23
To the Campus Community:
Please be advised of the below maintenance and construction projects that will affect
the following buildings: School of Business, Alumni, Gleeson and Hale.
- On Monday, December 22, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., Alumni Hall and School of Business
will be without heat and hot water to support the ongoing Steam Replacement Project. The buildings should retain adequate heat to remain comfortable during this time,
but occupants may notice a reduced temperature. If you require the use of hot water,
please utilize adjacent, unaffected buildings.
- The College will be performing critical maintenance on its high-voltage electrical
system on Monday, December 22 and Tuesday, December 23. This work is essential to ensure the continued reliability and safety of our campus
electrical service. During this period, the below buildings will experience electrical
outages between 6 a.m. and 3 p.m.
- 12/22: Gleeson Hall
- 12/23: Hale Hall
- During this period, additional buildings may experience intermittent electrical outages between 6 a.m.
and 7 a.m. These outages should not last more than 15 minutes. While we will make every effort
to minimize disruptions, we recommend that you take the following precautions:
- Save your work frequently and back up important data.
- Notify your supervisor if you anticipate any operational challenges.
In addition, the solar carport electric vehicle chargers will be unavailable December
19 through January 2.
Thank you for your continued understanding as we modernize our infrastructure and
perform this critical maintenance.
